Outrageous Bagel Company Lives Up to Its Name

By Jonathan Brooks

The Outrageous Bagel Company has some of the biggest bagels outside of the Big Apple and an incredible assortment. If you are looking for an authentic New York style bagel shop, there’s one in Kendall with a deli, bakery, smoothies, and all!

Owner Robert Sadler says, “Freshness is my first priority.” He and his friendly staff make them from scratch daily using only top ingredients: high-gluten flour, fresh yeast, and purified water.

Sure, there’s the traditional plain, egg, or everything bagel, but you’ll soon forget those when you try a pizza, French toast, black Russian, cheddar herb, spinach & Swiss, sun-dried tomato, sunflower, triple cinnamon, pumpernickel, or guava specialty bagel. They always have a Flavor of the Month.

Top one off with a generous portion of homemade spread or salad. The cream cheeses come in delectable garden vegetable, scallion, garlic herb, honey almond, sun-dried tomato, and strawberry. The nova-smoked salmon is of the highest quality and the tuna salad is a favorite.

If you are looking for a place to hang out with family and friends that serves healthy and nutritious meals at a great price, look no further. The Outrageous Bagel Company always has daily breakfast and lunch specials starting as low as $3.99.

Breakfast sandwiches start at just $1.75 and if you’re looking for smaller portions they also have mini bagels. The large selection of hot and cold gourmet coffees is extremely tasty and just as reasonable, also featuring a Flavor of the Month.

For lunch, you can’t beat their overstuffed sandwiches (available in Outrageous or Double It! sizes) made with premium deli meats served on a bagel, croissant, French bread, or wrap. Choose from a BLT and New York style turkey pastrami to Philly Cheese Steak and Vegetarian Delight with hummus (sandwiches $5.99-$10.99).

Start off a meal with a soup of the day and end it with a sweet treat from their assortment of baked goods, including muffins, croissants, cookies, and breads.

If you’re into smoothies, try a Nutty Monkey, Coco Loco, Just Peachy, and Banango Bash, among other options. And you can add free supplements to each smoothie, such as Bee Pollen, Echinacea, Chromium Picolinate, Protein, Ginseng, or old-fashioned Vitamin C (smoothies $4.25-$5.25).

Remember to take home a bag of yesterday’s bagels for ($3.75) and their incredible bagel chips. Check their website for coupons and a complete menu.

Tell Robert that you heard about them on GreatFoodList.com.

And as they say at the company, “don’t settle for the ordinary!!!”
